"David Benton Robinson Sept. 13, 1898 - July 24, 1978 David Benton Robinson, age 79, of the Sulligent are died in the Lamar County Nursing Home. He was a life long resident of Lamar County and was a member of the Union Ridge Free Will Bapti st Church. He was survived by one son, Gordon Robinson of Sulligent, AL.; two brothers, Ted Robinson of Beaverton, AL., and Willie Robinson of Guin, AL.; five sisters, Mrs. Betty Webb, Mrs. Nora Hughes, Mrs. Lillian Knight and Mrs. Icy Taylor all of Win field, Ala., and Mrs. Lidie Mixon of Beaverton, AL.; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren." Betty Robison Webb said his surname should be spelled Robison. Said David farmed and cut timber for a living.
