1. William1 Copass (#21169) was born in Va 1747.

He married an unknown person.

At 37 years of age William became the father of Elizabeth Copass in Va, 1784. Was in Revolutionary War, and Fought in Battle of Yorktown. William Copas(s) fought at the Battle of Yorktown. He testified in courtin 1832 for a War Pension application at the age of 85. Furnished by Maggie Likens

child 2 i. Elizabeth2 Copass (#21168) was born in Va 1784. Elizabeth died 1870 in Monroe, Ky, at 86 years of age. She married Alexander Birdwell. (Alexander Birdwell is #21167.) Alexander was born in Sullivan, Tn 1787. Alexander was the son of Robert Birdwell and Ellen Sanford. Alexander died 1866 in Monroe, Ky, at 79 years of age. At 23 years of age Alexander became the father of William Birdwell in Tn, 1810. At 25 years of age Alexander became the father of Mary Birdwell 1812. At 30 years of age Alexander became the father of Sarah Birdwell 1817. At 34 years of age Alexander became the father of Nancy Birdwell 1821. At 36 years of age Alexander became the father of John Alexander Birdwell in Tompkinsville, Ky, 1823. (See Alexander Birdwell for the continuation of this line.)

At 26 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of William Birdwell in Tn, 1810. At 28 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Mary Birdwell 1812. At 33 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Sarah Birdwell 1817. At 37 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Nancy Birdwell 1821. At 39 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of John Alexander Birdwell in Tompkinsville, Ky, 1823.
