1. Louis G.1 Cousins (#19794) was born in Rockford, Coosa Co., Al 22 Jun 1859.

He married Elzie L. Welch. (Elzie L. Welch is #19793.) Elzie became the mother of Cora Elouise Cousins in Ripley, Tippah Co., Ms, 18 Sep 1904.

At 45 years of age Louis became the father of Cora Elouise Cousins in Ripley, Tippah Co., Ms, 18 Sep 1904.

Louis G. Cousins and Elzie L. Welch had the following child:

child 2 i. Cora Elouise2 Cousins (#19792) was born in Ripley, Tippah Co., Ms 18 Sep 1904. Cora died 22 Nov 1971 in Regina, Nm, at 67 years of age. She married Robert Edgar Thomason 1920. (Robert Edgar Thomason is #19791.) Robert was born in Caddo Mills, Tx 25 Oct 1896. Robert was the son of Thomas Terrill Thomason and Frances Palestine Chastain. Robert died 18 Mar 1959 in Regina, Nm, at 62 years of age. At 26 years of age Robert became the father of Naoma Ruth Thomason in Belleville, Ks, 29 Jan 1923. At 18 years of age Cora became the mother of Naoma Ruth Thomason in Belleville, Ks, 29 Jan 1923. She was the tenth child of Louis G. Cousins and Elzie L. Welch. He wasborn June 22, 1859 in Rockford, Coosa Co., Alabama (south of Sylacauga).He homesteaded near Willow, Greer County, Texas. When Congress Ratifiedthe Louisana Purchase in 1896 th e area became a part of Oklahoma.

Louis was a farmer, Justice of the Peace, Merchant, Tax assessor, and wasa charter member of the Masonic Lodge in Mangum Oklahoma. He helped toorganize the Willow, Oklahoma, Methodist Church. (Cora became a Baptistwhen she married Robert Edga r Thomason.)

Cora was living with her daughter Tommy Lou Malcom at the time of herdeath November 22, 1971.
