He married Kathryn Hultslander Green in Dryden, Tompkins Co., Ny, 7 Mar 1904. (Kathryn Hultslander Green is #33884.) Kathryn was born in Waverly, Tioga Co., Ny 8 Jan 1874. Kathryn died 1 Oct 1927 in Elmira Hgts., Chemung Co., Ny, Buried In Woodlawn Cemetery, E, at 53 years of age. At 31 years of age Kathryn became the mother of Charles Martin Sandwick, Sr. in Dryden, Tompkins Co., Ny, 13 May 1905.

At 25 years of age Earl became the father of Charles Martin Sandwick, Sr. in Dryden, Tompkins Co., Ny, 13 May 1905. In his youth, Earl distinguished himself as a pianist; was engagedto play at fairs for the entertainment of crowds. He never lost hisinterest in music nor his touch which always arrested the hearer's ear.He showed a good deal of mechanica l talent also, both in the old woolenmill of Dryden and in the larger manufacturing establishment where he waslater employed. He married Kate Green of Dryden. After the death ofKate and the marriage of his son, Charles Martin, Earl went to liv e withhis sister Elizabeth and her husband where he took charge of their 400acre estate and dairy farm.
